Customer Review: I have to agree with many of the reviewers that indicate the information is extremely basic and the illustrations rarely add much, if any, value to the discussion. Since the target audience is probably women in the 35-55 range, the tone and silly cartoons would be more appropriate for a preteen... more info
Customer Review: Although I appreciated the detailed research, thorough explanations, and carefully broken-down science of this book, I did NOT appreciate the "cutesy" humor that barely masked itself as grade-school-style fat jokes. Size discrimination is never funny, and neither are jokes made at the expense of... more info
Customer Review: EAT TO LIVE is a remarkable study of proper eating strategies to combat disease and to lose weight. The book was recommended to me by a friend who at the age of 60 had lost 60 pounds and dramatically improved his diabetes and cholesterol. It has already changed my life. My wife has been following it... more info
Customer Review: My sister requested a book by Dr. Oz as her Christmas present this year. I searched for it on Amazon.com, and found several by Dr. Oz to choose from. I ordered "YOU: The Owner's Manual..." It arrived at her doorstep in record time. The speed amazed me. She has reported that the book is wonderful --... more info

Customer Review: This is a must-read before another visit to the doctor's office or any hospital. Just reading it gives YOU a sense of empowerment. It's loaded with common sense information designed to guide YOU into becoming more proactive in your own health care. Keep it handy.

I do like the previous work of Dr's Oz & Roizen, most of it at any rate (I do think they saturate the market with too... more info
YOU: On a Walk
from Simon & Schuster Audio
Price: $13.57
Customer Review: I felt the music was unpleasant. The tips were too few, too far between, and too simple. I didn't like it even enough to pass it on the a friend who might try it and like it better than I did. I took it to the used book store after the first week.
Customer Review: Trendy conclusions and really rinky-dink experiments. The book went to press before some of the results of the experiments were complete! How weird is that? I wouldn't recommend this book to anyone serious about improving their health. There are many books that are much better.
