Customer Review: This is highly, HIGHLY recommended. I have been laid up in bed sick for the past two weeks and unable to focus, but I stayed up reading this to finish it. It won't take you very long, but it does not feel skimpy or short in the least - it is meaty and wonderful. I understand that this is aimed... more info
Customer Review: This book didn't really grab me at first, but the more I read it, the more I became wrapped up in this unique, dark, imaginative world. Richard Mayhew was just a normal man leading a normal life until he stops to help a bleeding girl in the streets -- an act that truly lives up to "no good deed goes... more info
Customer Review: Good writing, good pacing, but I couldn't help but wonder at this book's treatment of a theme similar to that written by Doug Adams several years earlier in "The Long Dark Tea-Time of the Soul". Adams' treatment was comedic, rather than dramatic, however.
Customer Review: Enjoyed the variety and fresh ideas. Not all the stories were very interesting though some were excellent. Worth buying and rereading after some time passes.

Customer Review: Good Omens, co-authored by the powerful duo of Terry Pratchet and Neil Gaimen, is a unique and hilarious look at the subject many of us avoid most of our lives: our pending doom, the apocolypse.
Many characters are introduced quickly (aided by a list of characters) in this novel lead by... more info
Customer Review: I will be honest - this is not Gaiman's best work. Mind you, I am not trashing him. I love his Sandman series, and have several of his novels... American Gods, Neverwhere, Smoke and Mirrors and loved them all, this one was lacking. I will admit that I watched the movie first before I read the... more info
