Customer Review: From the very beginning this book demanded my attention and I couldn't set it down and it only got better especially toward the end. This book portrays a story about the love and mercy of God and doesn't preach condemnation. God loves us so much that we can never understand the full scope of it.... more info
Customer Review: This was the last book in the Sunrise Series and the final book for this family - There have been several different series involving this family and I've read every book in each of the different series leading up to this one. As always, Karen Kingsbury leaves you wanting the next book. Unfortunately... more info
Customer Review: I truly enjoyed reading this book from beginning to end. It starts with a gripping, heart wrenching account of the destruction of Jeruselem and how the main character, Hadassah, survives the loss of her entire family to become a slave to a Roman family. We also learn of Atretes, a German warrior... more info
Customer Review: I listened to this in the car on audio CD. Then, passed it on to my husband. Wonderful book, great story, inspiring. Highly recommend.
Customer Review: I just love Beverly Lewis! I have read most of her books, and this series is probably my favorite! Nellie is a beautiful character with dilemas most of us can relate to! Lewis is so knowledgeable about the Amish...its nice to see them correctly portrayed!

I have a lot of Dee Henderson's stuff and was surprised when I found this book because I hadn't heard that she was publishing another project. I immediately purchased it and upon arrival knew that I had already purchased... more info
Customer Review: Clearly the author knows the Amish and Menonite people. I love that she put a list of characters in the front of the book and explained who they are, so you aren't lost from the start about who is being referred to. Great story. I will purchase more of these books.
